Project Goal

Jacob Construction & Design, Inc. modified the pre-determined offices and constructed a new conference room in the US Army Garrison Command Suite in Building 614, POM. DescriptionFor this project, it was Jacob Construction & Design’s responsibility to demo out several office enclosures and open the space to produce a fully-equipped conference room. As Building 614 was fully occupied with tenants, JCD had to generate a work plan to ensure that construction did not disturb the tenants. Therefore, JCD’s first priority was to construct a sound-attenuating wall separation between tenant workspace and construction area. Demoed waste removal was routed to ground level without impeding on the Garrison Command’s normal operations. Once the conference room was fully constructed, a 26 ft. conference table was brought in along with chairs and wall seating, sound-attenuating wall panels, and audio-visuals equipment.
