Project Goal

JCD installed new conduit on the runway and installed new Primary High Voltage Conductors, Isolation Transformers and Primary Kit Connectors complete and ready for flight line operations.

Description

Jacob Construction & Design, Inc. installed, by Horizontally Boring and Jetting, a new 1-inch Non-Metallic Conduit between the Runway Edge Pull Box and Light Can No. 3 at Touch Down Zone Light Rows 6, 7, 12, and 16, and installed new Primary High Voltage Conductors, Isolation Transformers and Primary Kit Connectors complete and ready for use at Light Cans No. 2 and 3 at each of the 4 Rows. JCD was tasked to perform this project under a tight schedule while carefully refraining from obstructing the active runway operations.
